Who we are

A research supplier should show its work.

Black Diamond Compounds is a US-based supplier of lyophilized research compounds, distributed strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. The catalog is built around one idea: anything we say about a vial should be something you can verify.

That means outside lab testing, certificates matched to lot numbers, a public lookup to read them, and support that answers by email.

Outside lab testing

Release testing is done by an accredited third party, not an in-house bench.

Lot-matched certificates

A published certificate carries the same lot number that is printed on the vial label.

Research use only

Supplied strictly for in-vitro laboratory research. We don't provide usage guidance of any kind.

Sealed and tracked

Sealed packaging and tracked delivery, shipped from inside the United States.

Quality protocol

Tested by an outside lab. Published for you to read.

We don't grade our own work. Lots are sent to ILS, an ISO 17025-accredited laboratory in the United States, and results come back on a signed certificate tied to the lot number.

What ISO 17025 means. It is the international standard for testing and calibration laboratories. Accreditation means the lab's methods, equipment and staff competence are audited by an outside body. ILS is not owned by us and does not sell our products.

Traceability

From lot number to certificate.

Each lot gets one number. It is printed on the vial label and on the certificate, so you can match one to the other.

    Lot assigned

Each batch receives a unique lot number.

  2. 02

    Sampled

Samples from the lot are sent to ILS.

  3. 03

    Tested

ILS runs its assay panel on the samples.

  4. 04

    Certificate issued

Results are issued on a signed certificate for that lot.

  5. 05

    Published

The certificate goes live in COA lookup as the lab releases it.
